Our History

Our Mission in Everyday Words

We believe every child deserves more than basic necessities. Children also need hope, encouragement, protection and a supportive community.

Yeshua & Kids Care Foundation works to connect children and families with practical support, educational opportunities, health and wellness information, emotional encouragement and community-based assistance.

Our work aims to create safe and respectful spaces where children can learn, build confidence and develop positive relationships. We rely on volunteers, donors and community partners who share our commitment to serving children with compassion, dignity and responsibility.

Our Beginning

Yeshua & Kids Care Foundation was established in 2020 with a commitment to support vulnerable children and families.

From the beginning, the Foundation has sought to respond to local needs through practical assistance, community relationships and child-focused activities. Our work has developed through partnerships with families, schools, volunteers, community leaders, faith communities and other supporters.

The scope of each activity depends on available funding, volunteers, permissions and suitable partnerships.

Where We Are Today

Since its founding in 2020, Yeshua & Kids Care Foundation has worked to support vulnerable children and families through education, wellness education, emotional encouragement and community outreach.

The Foundation has supported community-focused activities related to clean water, practical assistance, child and youth wellbeing, mentoring and family support. These activities have been developed with the help of volunteers, donors, community leaders and other partners.

Our health and wellness work focuses on education, general wellbeing information and connections to appropriate support services where available. The Foundation’s educational and supportive activities do not replace professional medical diagnosis or treatment.

We have also supported practical assistance for children and families through care packages, educational resources and community activities. The type and availability of support depend on confirmed funding, partnerships and local needs.

Through mentoring and group activities, we aim to create safe and respectful spaces where children and teenagers can build confidence, develop positive relationships and feel encouraged.

We are grateful to the volunteers, donors, companies, community leaders and other partners who contribute to this work. Their support helps the Foundation plan and deliver child-focused activities in Abuja and surrounding communities.

Selected Activities and Milestones

Examples of the Foundation’s activities and milestones include:

Supported the development of a borehole intended to improve access to clean water for a local children’s church community.
Introduced guidance, mentoring and emotional-wellbeing activities for children and teenagers.
Provided or supported wellness education and referral information through appropriate partners.
Distributed or supported the distribution of care packages containing food, clothing, beverages and toiletries.
Organized or supported mentorship programs and community activities that encourage confidence, positive relationships and participation.
Developed relationships with companies, local leaders, volunteers, donors and other community partners.

The activities above reflect work undertaken or supported by Yeshua & Kids Care Foundation. Dates, locations, participant numbers and outcomes will be added as records are verified. Proposed activities are labelled separately and should not be understood as completed projects.

We continue to strengthen our records, partnerships and safeguarding practices so that future updates can provide clearer information about the Foundation’s activities and results.
